Want to get more out of that nice camera?
Come with me and really get to grips with the incredible art of photography.
Along the way I will help you understand all of the functions and abilities of your camera, how to interpret light in a scene and how to find and capture compelling and interesting compositions. Landscape, portrait, wildlife photography and more will all be covered.
I will be shooting alongside you with my own state of the art gear for direct demonstrations of a variety of techniques, and you can even have a go at using it yourself.
This module is aimed at beginner DSLR and Mirrorless camera owners but intermediate shooters are also welcome.
Priced per person and includes three hours of tuition from a real multi-disciplinary professional photographer.
Following on from ‘An Introduction to digital photography’, this module digs deeper into the art of portraiture.
We will explore basic on camera flash use to large-scale, professional multi-point lighting setups to achieve specific looks.
Included in the price per participant is two hours of tuition and use of all the professional studio flash and camera equipment you will need.
This module is for those who have attended ‘An Introduction to Digital Photography’, or otherwise for those who are comfortable handling their camera and shooting in manual exposure mode.
We will cover advanced shooting techniques and camera settings, including how to shoot an image to look great straight out of the camera and how to produce an image that is primed for post processing. We will even do some night time shots if time and weather permit.
For landscape photographers, we will go over using a tripod and self timer to achieve sharp, aligned bracketed frames that are perfect for use in High Dynamic Range post processing, or if you prefer we can look at portraiture, with a focus on proper use of flash and posing techniques.
Learn to shoot using analogue film cameras and get so much more from your photography.
